Morocco Honeymoon Itinerary

Blessed with beauty of nature and home to some of the finest architectural masterpieces, Morocco offers an exquisite blend of natural and manmade.
It is a country worth seeing and for honeymooners it is nothing less than a dreamland. If you are recently married and haven’t selected a destination for your honeymoon, then Morocco is the perfect place to see your dreams come to life.
Below is an all-inclusive itinerary, which has been enjoyed by honeymooners from across the globe in the last 15 years. This itinerary can be customized to suit your specific requirements.
So, here we go…

Day 1: Casablanca > Rabat

After arriving at Casablanca, you will be meet and greet by our driver then transfer to Rabat. On your way to the capital of Morocco, you will come across interesting sites like Temara beach. This seaside getaway offers perfect welcome to newly-married couples. After reaching Rabat, you will check into riad, where you will get to eat fine Moroccan delicacies.

Day 2Rabat – Meknes (Wine Tasting) Night in Fes (Riad Fes)

After breakfast, your personal driver will take you to Meknes. Visit the vineyards, bask in the sun and take in the smell of fruits and flowers. The whole process of wine making will be shown to you by a guide. In the evening, transfer to the Riad Fes. Check into the hotel

Day 3: Fes Stroll the Medina (Guided Tour)

Replenish your energies with a heavy breakfast. Meet our guide at the reception of the riad then depart for a tour of the Medina to explore must-visit attractions of Fes:
The Oldest University in The World (Al-Qarawiyyin), Chaouwara Tanneries, Attarine & Bouanania Koranic Schools, Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter, Markets as well as many other sights of this iconic Medieval Town. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant

Day 4: Fes Hammam Spa and Massage

Have your breakfast in the morning and your personal driver will take you to the Palais Amani’s hammam spa to relax your sore muscles. You will get services like hand and foot scrub, body massage along with a steam session. Herbal tea will refresh your mind and body. Later, you will head back to the Riad Fes. Dinner will be at the Riad.

Day 5: Fes – Atlas Mountains (Barbary Macquace) – Marrakech

Your luxury van will take you to the foothills of the Middle Atlas Mountains know for cedar forest. Stop in Ifrane  known as Switzerland of Morocco, hold hands and take a romantic walk into the cedar forest. Later there will be our meeting with the wild and friendly monkeys living in Forest ðŸ™‚
Later transfer to Marrakech for overnight

Day 6: Erfoud > Desert Villages and Camel Safari

Most of this day, you will rest and wash away your fatigue by staying in the hotel. You can also go exploring the small but interesting towns in the desert before you leave into the barren land and sand dunes of the majestic Sahara Desert later in the afternoon. A four-wheeler vehicle will drive you across the sandy route.
A camel will be waiting for you in the desert and will take you on a 2-hour trek to the oasis. Here you will spend the night in the Berber tents and enjoy traditional Berber dishes for dinner.

Day 7: Merzouga > Togdha Gorges > Dades Valley

You will begin the day with the spectacular view of sunrise on the top of sand dunes. Later after breakfast in the tent, you will camel-trek back to the 4 × 4s and head towards Erfoud. From Erfoud, you continue the itinerary from behind the High Atlas Mountains en-route to Ouarzazate via the 600-feet high beautiful Togdha Gorges. You can take a hike up to the gorges to enjoy the scenic view. The site is perfect for wonderful Instagram-ready pictures.
The journey along the river valleys towards the southeast of Morocco will be a beautiful one. We will arrive at the hotel late in the evening where you will be served the dinner.

Day 8: Dades Valley > Rose Valley > Ouarzazate > Ait Benhaddou > Marrakesh

After savoring the sumptuous morning meal, you will set off to Marrakech, one of the imperial cities of Morocco. The route will continue via the historical ksars of Ait Benhaddou. The tour will take you off the road where you will explore the ksars in the region. A popular site among the producers and directors around the world, this region can easily be recognized from some of the most popular movies including the Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and recently The Gladiator. Lunch will be arranged at one of the restaurants of Ait Benhaddou.
After lunch, you continue towards the mountains to the Ochre City, Marrakech. You will be chauffeured to the hotel where you will freshen up before heading out to the visit the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The place is a hub for storytellers, musicians and performers.
Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 9: Marrakech Guided City Tour

A tantalizing meal will start your day filling you up with energy to tour the southern pearl of Morocco. This guided tour will take you on an incursion to some of the most visited tourist places. The itinerary will include the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other architectural and historic sites. You will have you lunch at one of the restaurants in the city.
After lunch, you will continue with the tour and set off to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, which are both popular landmarks in Marrakech. The tour will end at the souk. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant.

Day 10: Marrakech > Casablanca

Next day you will head depart from Marrakech and continue towards Casablanca, the western part of Morocco. Popular as a port city and a commercial hub, Casablanca is also a home to some of the oldest buildings in Morocco.
You can take a tour to one of the old buildings and remnants of the past, the grand Hassan II Mosque before heading back to the hotel.
Dinner will be served at the Hotel in Casablanca

Day 11: Casablanca - Departure

You can leave the hotel at your convenience, depending on when your flight is scheduled.
As we say in Morocco, you are always welcome back to your second home.
